This is a diptych I started today. Two 36×36 inch panels. Ambitiously, I’m going to try to complete it in five days. We’ll see how that goes… Step one: I sketch the whole scene in black and white paint. The scene is a view from some bluffs in West Van looking out Howe Sound toward Vancouver Island. Passage Island and the southern tip of Bowen Island are in the top right behind the trees.
