So this is the last of the large pieces (30×36) for my show in May at Petley Jones Gallery here in Vancouver. The scene is of Howe Sound from Langdale, which is not too far from where I live. Even though there is plenty of movement with the clouds clearing after a storm, this piece has a nice sense of serenity about it. The plan is to do three more smallish pieces before the opening; May 1st. Yikes!

Thanks. Maybe too ambitious a deadline! It’s sort of a trick to make myself work harder. It helps that two of three will be quite small, otherwise it would be impossible.
